A Novel design for Biogas conversion into commercial domestic and transport vehicle cylinders for economic and societal development

Biogas, produced through the anaerobic digestion of organic waste materials such as agricultural residue, food waste, and sewage sludge, is a valuable renewable energy resource. It has the potential to significantly reduce reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate climate change impacts. However, the commercialization of biogas has been limited due to the lack of efficient storage and distribution solutions. Traditional fuel cylinders, such as those used for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), are made from non-renewable fossil fuel-derived materials. By developing biogas-based cylinders for commercial, domestic and vehicle transport purposes, we can create a closed-loop system that aligns with the principles of circular economy and reduces the overall carbon footprint of the energy sector. By promoting the use of biogas-made cylinders, we aim to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and create a viable commercial product in the renewable energy sector.

Biogas generation from Anaerobic digester for various applications to the rural community

The goal of this project is to explore the potential of bio-energy as a source of energy for rural communities. Biogas is a renewable resource that can be produced from biomass, such as crops, food waste and animal livestock. It can be used to generate electricity, heat homes and fertilizers, and produce transportation fuels. Biogas can help with rural development and poverty alleviation. It can also help improve the standard of living and socioeconomic status of rural households. The utilization of bioenergy in rural communities can have a number of benefits. For example, biogas can help to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, which can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, bioenergy can help to create jobs and boost the local economy. However, it is important to be aware of the potential drawbacks of biogas production, such as competition with food production and environmental impacts.

IOT Enabled Health Monitoring and Identification System Based on Hybrid Machine Learning Classifier Developed with High Speed FPGA Controller.

The proposed architecture model effectively monitors functions like heart rate, oxygen level, blood pressure and respiration using ECG sensor. For individuals who are admitted in ICU or who are paralyzed at home, this device will offer continuous health monitoring capabilities remotely from any location. To enable real-time monitoring of patients temperature and ECG signal, sensors such as heartbeat sensor, temperature sensor, and oxygen level sensor have been used. Additionally, the data are routinely and regularly updated in cloud. This makes it easier for patients doctors, medics, or family members to monitor patients health and to take appropriate actions. The technology further sends doctors or patients a computerized notification. The integration of IoT, machine learning, and FPGA technology enables personalized healthcare and interventions. The system tracks individual health parameters and patterns, allowing for tailored treatment plans and proactive interventions based on the identified health conditions. This personalized approach enhances patient care and outcomes. Its ability to provide real-time monitoring, accurate health condition identification, and personalized healthcare sets it apart from traditional systems and offers unique benefits for healthcare professionals, individuals, and industries.

Dynamic Energy Conversion and Management of the Multi-Energy Vehicle Charging/Refueling Station

Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) charging technology offers numerous advantages compared to conventional charging methods. With smart charging systems, charging rates and schedules can be automatically adjusted based on real-time power prices and availability, resulting in cost savings and improved energy efficiency. These systems can also be seamlessly combined with renewable energy sources with solar PV and wind power, enabling cleaner and more sustainable charging solutions. Importance of EV Charging Infrastructure: The common adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) relies heavily on the presence of a dependable and convenient charging infrastructure, including smart EV charging. To instill confidence in drivers, charging stations need to be widely accessible and reliable, ensuring that vehicles can be charged whenever and wherever needed. Additionally, charging stations should be compatible with various EV models, reducing the burden on drivers and facilitating the use of EVs as their primary mode of transportation. In order to promote the growth of renewable energy and smart EV charging infrastructure, governments and private organizations must collaborate to invest in research and development. They should also provide incentives for the deployment of clean energy and charging systems. Moreover, to make well-informed decisions about energy and mobility alternatives, customers need to educate themselves about the advantages of renewable energy, smart EV charging, and efficient energy management. By working together to transition to renewable energy and efficient EV charging, we can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, improve air quality, and mitigate the effects of climate change.

A novel design of solar panel for co-generation power plant

Demand for power is increasing and the resources used for electric power generation are fast depleting. Hence there exists a gap between the conventional form of energy generation and the demand of power supply. To meet the power demand, renewable energy sources are mostly preferred. Problems like poor efficiency and intermittency in power generation are the areas of focus for researchers. Considering, Solar power generation as a promising solution to cope up with the power demand, numerous researchers have been struggling to find a solution to increase the efficiency of the solar power output and provide continuity in supply. In this regard, this proposal aims to provide a solution to the problem of intermittency and efficiency of power generated through solar panels.

Development of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) with Solar Thermal Energy for Improving Thermal Efficiency and Cost Optimization

Solar thermal electricity (STE) is considered one of many options to supply energy to mankind in a sustainable and renewable way. Future scenarios on the renewable energy portfolio always include STE, albeit in a small role, for example contributing 1% to global energy supply in 2040. This in part is due to present and future costs, which are hampering larger deployment of STE than currently envisaged. Therefore, as with all renewable energy technologies, research and development efforts are concentrated on accelerated cost reductions and efficiency improvements. Conventional solar thermal electricity (STE) plant types collect solar radiation and convert emerged heat via a power cycle, like the Rankine cycle and a generator, to electricity, not being essentially different from a steam engine. The power cycle energy conversion is based on thermal expansion. A working fluid, or medium, is heated by solar irradiation and expands due to the existing temperature difference. This expansion results in an increase in pressure of a working fluid when it reaches its boiling point. This increase in pressure, if significant enough, is able to drive a turbine. After driving the turbine, the working fluid has lost a part of its total energy, but in order to condense into its original state it needs to be cooled down. Many designs and types of STE plants are possible.
