Sri K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju
The Chancellor of GGU and Chairman of Chaitanya Group
Sri K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju, fondly known as Sri Chaitanya Raju, is the visionary founder and the chancellor of Godavari Global University (GGU). With over 4 decades of academic leadership, he has been instrumental in shaping the transformation of a leading engineering institution (GIET) into a prominent state private university. His leadership and commitment to fostering excellence have elevated GGU into a premier educational hub, serving thousands of students in streams of engineering and science. Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Foundation with a unitary 850 bedded super specialty hospital offering medical courses from undergraduate to postgraduate levels across broad specialities, was nurtured under his stewardship. By virtue of his philanthropic activities besides significant contribution to arts and Telugu literature, Sri Chaitanya Raju has earned widespread recognition among socio-literary circles in India and abroad.

The Pro-Chancellor of GGU and Managing Director, KIMS, Amalapuram
With over two and a half decades of experience in medical education, Mr. K. Ravi Varma serves as the Pro Chancellor of Godavari Global University. He has been instrumental in the growth and success of Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences into an institution of eminence in healthcare. His focus on Health Sciences at GGU is aimed at expanding the portfolio of university’s medical and allied health programs, ensuring that students receive multi-disciplinary education and training.

K. Sasi Kiran Varma
The President and Pro-Chancellor of GGU
Mr. K. Sasi Varma, the Pro Chancellor of Godavari Global University (GGU) and a computer science engineer by qualification, has two decades of experience in educational administration and technology-enabled endeavours. He is the driving force behind the university’s innovative programs, infrastructure development, and global collaborations. As a key figure in Sri Koundinya Educational Society, he has played a pivotal role in transforming GIET – Autonomous into GGU. Under his guidance, GGU has achieved numerous accolades, including NAAC A++ accreditation and continuous recognition in NIRF rankings. He played a pivotal role in bringing several centres of excellence into GGU campus in collaboration with renowned national and global multinational companies.

Dr. U. Chandra Sekhar

Extensive research and academic pursuits of Dr. U. Chandrasekhar indicate a synergistic confluence of technology development tasks, outcome-based education and industry-institute collaborations. After his professional at NIT-Surathkal and IIT-Madras, he worked for 28 years in DRDO in various capacities rising to the rank of an Additional Director in 2010. He set up India’s first-ever Defence Additive Manufacturing Laboratory in 1999 and carried out numerous rapid prototyping projects relevant to aero gas turbine engines, unmanned systems and combat aircraft. During 2011, he led a group of scientists in engine flight testing at the Central Institute of Aviation Motors, Moscow. For his research contributions, he received a Commendation Medal from the Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister.
During 2013-2015, he served the Institution of Engineers (India) as the Secretary & Director General, followed by an academic stint in Veltech University, Chennai as the Pro Vice Chancellor. Subsequently he worked as the Program Director Addwize of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, Bangalore and conducted competency development projects related to additive engineering for aerospace industries and academia. He serves as the senate member for IIITDM-K, an institution of national importance. He carried out an Indo-Canada project under IC-IMPACTS program and an Indo Korea project related to societal use of drones. He received Anatha Ramakrishnan Gold Medal from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for his performance in IIT-Madras in 1990 and received the outstanding achiever award from the Director – NIT Surathkal. He is the Vice Chancellor of Godavari Global University, AP and serves as an adjunct faculty of CPDM Indian Institute of Science.
Dr. P.M.M.S. Sarma

Dr. PMMS Sarma has been a dedicated educator since 1993 and currently serves as the Registrar of Godavari Global University, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the university’s administrative framework and academic excellence.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Design and Production Engineering (Machine Tools) from NIT (then REC), Warangal. He further enhanced his academic credentials by earning a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Anna University, Chennai.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sarma has worked in esteemed institutions, including Sathyabama University (formerly Sathyabama Engineering College) and Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, where he has held various positions such as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Professor, and Principal. His leadership and commitment to quality education have earned him the Best Teacher Award four times, including an accolade from the Lions Club, Madras Metropolitan South, Chennai. He has also received the Best Student Project Guided Award (ISTE – Kerala Government Award), Best Paper Presentation Award, and Best Academic Administrator Award.
As a prolific contributor to academia, Dr. Sarma has published 15 papers in reputable international and national journals and conferences, along with 56 patents. He has authored a book titled “Engineering Workshop Practice” and edited the book “Futuristic Trends in Mechanical Engineering.” His expertise is further recognized through his role as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for numerous esteemed international journals and conferences.
He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education, a Life Fellow and Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Engineers (India), and a Life Fellow of the Indian Institution of Production Engineers.
