Department Profile
Overview
The Pharmaceutical Technology course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to align with the dynamic landscape of Research & Development (R&D) and Formulation & Development (F&D) in the pharmaceutical industry. This program prepares students to work with outstanding technologies, ensuring they are well-prepared for innovation and excellence in industrial practices.
The advancements in digital technology have significantly influenced the pharmaceutical industry, necessitating a skilled workforce adept in both pharmaceutical sciences and technological innovations. The two-year master’s program in Pharmaceutical Technology is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills to navigate this evolving landscape.
The laboratory facilities in the department serves as a platform for hands-on experience, allowing students to engage in drug development and delivery research. Innovative teaching strategies, such as interdisciplinary collaboration, are emphasized to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The lab encourages the exploration of modern technologies, including virtual reality and simulation, to improve practical competencies.
Students are motivated to innovate new pharmacy patents, contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences. The integration of artificial intelligence in research processes is highlighted, enabling precision in drug discovery and personalized medicine.
