MEDICINAL GARDEN

A medicinal garden in the School of Pharmacy serves as a valuable educational resource, providing hands-on experience with medicinal plants used in traditional and modern medicine. It offers students the opportunity to study plant morphology, active constituents, and therapeutic properties. The garden typically includes a variety of herbs like Aloe vera, Tulsi, Ashwagandha and Neem, which are known for their medicinal benefits. Such gardens promote awareness of herbal medicine, conservation of endangered species, and research opportunities in pharmacognosy. By integrating practical learning with theoretical knowledge, a medicinal garden enhances students’ understanding of natural remedies and their applications in pharmaceutical sciences.
