Genesis
As the demand for skilled civil engineers increased, we recognized the need to establish a specialized department dedicated to this field. Since its inception, we have been committed to providing students with a comprehensive education that encompasses various aspects of civil engineering, equipping them with the necessary skills to contribute to society. Our curriculum is designed to cover a wide range of subjects, including structural engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and more. We take pride in our esteemed faculty members, who are experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the civil engineering industry

Pursuing Ph.D degree in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and received M.Tech(Structural Engineering) degree from GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. Presently associated with Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology, Rajahmundry, A.P as I/C HOD for Civil Engineering Department. Having 10 Years of experience in teaching for undergraduate students and post graduate students. Research interests are in the areas of structural health monitoring, Analysis of beams and columns by applying Fiber Reinforced Concrete sheets. 10 research papers has been published in reputed journals. Life member in ISTE(Indian Society for Technical Education)

AVEVA BOCAD STEEL
We work with different departments reaching more than 100 students annually. Our vision is to transform the educational space by providing convenient access for all faculty and students. To transfer .Engineering skills and knowledge. AVEVA’s solutions cover integrated process design, simulation, engineering design, procurement, construction, and handover processes to prepare learners for the workforce of the future.
Functionality
- Impart knowledge of structural design software (Bocad steel)
- Design of basic Steel structures and prepare the models
- Familiarize the trainees with basics of user interface
- Familiarize the trainees with basic functions required for manipulating the model

- Students will be able to design steel Structures. Modeling of the steel structures can be done. Students can fix the dimensions of the structure. Students can estimate the steel structures.
